Welcome to the UCR eLab Global Panel.
The UCR eLab Global Panel is looking for people just like you!
The UCR eLab is the pioneering virtual research lab and online panel for the study of online consumer behavior. We invite people from all over the world to join our panel (just fill in your email address in the right sidebar!) and participate a few times a year in our innovative online experiments and surveys about how people behave in the digital world. All of our projects are academic research studies conducted by eLab faculty and their students at the University of California. Panelists have the opportunity to win cash prizes for registering for the panel, and for participating in our research.
eLab is funded by grants from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and the University of California, Riverside. eLab supports the Sloan Center for Internet Retailing. On July 1, 2006, the Sloan Center for Internet Retailing, founded and co-directed by Professors Donna Hoffman and Tom Novak, moved to UC Riverside.
Why should I join the eLab Global Panel?
1) You will help advance academic knowledge. The UCR eLab Global Panel enables University of California faculty and graduate students to conduct original research using Web-based surveys and experiments. Researchers using the eLab Panel will primarily be affliated with the UCR Sloan Center for Internet Retailing. This research is published in scholarly academic journals.
2) You can influence business practice. Faculty who run studies using the eLab Global Panel are affiliated with the UCR Sloan Center for Internet Retailing, and interact with leaders of the Internet retailing industry. Your answers can influence how companies do business with you online.
3) You will enjoy it! Over the years, many panelists have written to us that they've enjoyed participating in our online research studies. Each study is unique, and our academic studies are often quite different from typical market research studies you may have participated in before.
4) Last but not least, all eLab Global Panelists are eligible for prize drawings. A montly drawing is open to all registered panelists. In addition, each study has its own drawing open to all those who complete the study.
