As you may have heard in the news, there's this little company called Groupon that recently generated quite a bit of buzz over (eventually failed) acquisition talks with Google. Admittedly, I'd never even heard of the company until just a few weeks ago when one of my bosses at the UCR business school gave me the heads up.
