Be a Resource on the Internet, Tell Your Story

How could you be using technology to improve your business and better serve your customers?

Darren Rowse at TwiTip wrote about how Twitter could be used as a tool for health practitioners to keep tabs on the details of their client's lifestyle by advising their clients to tweet about their eating and living habits.

What do you wish people knew about your business? Do you have a passion around it? Is there something you want to know about your customers?

You could be telling stories about your customers on a blog.

You could be letting locals know that you offer a unique, new service in their area.

You could be developing better services by listening to needs presented on the web.

If you are unsure about how to do something different on the web, you could even use the web to ask about that.

Someone out there has answers, if you have questions.

You have answers for others' question. Bridge the gap.

Thanks for the advice and tips. I think this is very useful and straightforward to apply. I wasn’t sure about Twitter or blogs but I will look into.

I believe Twitter and blogging will help to not only inform potential customers of your business and services but also help to differentiate your business from the other “me too’s”.

To me, social sites like Twitter are a good way for people to get to know more about you, your business, etc. on a more personal level. It’s a great way to network and build trust and once you got that, you’re on the road to great business relationships.
