The International Consumer Electronics Show may be a long ways off, but buzz has already begun online regarding CES 2013. This year CES will be held in at the Las Vegas Convention Center starting January 8th through the 11th. An expected 155,000 people are set to attend the 2013 event.
The big news recently announced is that Mr. Kazuhiro Tsuga, president of Panasonic Corp., will be the keynote speaker on the 8th beginning at 8:30am (see picture left). His speech is expected to be focused on the future of Panasonic and also their green technology advancements. He has a goal of making Panasonic the green innovation leader by 2018. This will be the 100th anniversary of the electronics industry. Tsuga's hard work at Panasonic dates back to 2001 and has been a major influence in the electronics industry through the 21st century. His keynote speech will be great and is something I highly look forward to at CES 2013
Immediately after Gary Shapiro, president & CEO, CEA will make his keynote address. Shapiro is known for writing 2011 bestseller The Comback: How innovation will Restore the American Dream. Dr. Stephen Woo is scheduled to be the keynote speaker for day 2 at 9am. Dr. Woo is the president of Samsung Electronics’. More information regarding keynote speakers at CES 2013 can be found here. http://www.cesweb.org/Events/Keynotes.aspx
The conference lineup has not yet been released but can be expected October 1st. Some of the featured exhibitors this year to look forward to though include: AUDI AG, Evertek Computer Corp., & Wilson Electronics, Inc. Once the full lineup is released in October expect an update.
For now lets look forward to the upcoming CES 2013 beginning in January. Its just over 4 months away. For more information check out http://www.cesweb.org/Home.aspx.
