Would this amount to sacrilege?

I nearly threw the message away. An exhibition seemed a century away. It would not do for the Internet-savvy to be seen at such a do.

"Let me go for old time's sake". I mulled over the idea of attending.

A call from a dear friend sealed the matter. "Please come over and look in at our booth". It was a request beyond refusal.

The exhibition visit turned out much better than I had hoped. Sure, some of my new contacts faded away, tried a couple of scams, and simply forgot to stay in touch. However, I did get some great interviews, entire web albums of memorable photographs, and met some invaluable new browsers as well.

I have learned the Plus One Mantra. Meet your customers on another medium, or even in person on occasion to keep them at your web site. Use brick and mortar events like deep sea fishing. Enjoy the fresh breeze and wait patiently for that dream catch.
