The
eLab eXchange has just opened a new tournament focusing on Web sites related to the U.S.2008 Presidential Election.
The upcoming presidential election is now just a few weeks away and voters are seeking as much information as they can about the candidates. Not surprisingly, many people are turning to the Web as a key source for information. With so many Web sites focused on news and politics, it is reasonable to assume that at this point in the election, people will turn to those sites that cater to their particular leanings.
Recent polls show Obama in the lead, but some observers are wondering about the so-called "Bradley effect," not to mention a last-minute shake-up by the McCain campaign. We wondered if the traffic on certain political Web sites might serve as an early indicator of which candidate will win.
The 8 markets in the new
eLab eXchange RED OR BLUE tournament represent popular Republican or Democratic leaning Web sites. Give it your best shot and forecast who you think will win the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election!
This market runs from Wednesday, October 15 through Friday, October 31, 2008.
The outcome of these 8 markets will be determined shortly after the Presidential Election using Nielsen Online's NetView audience measurement service.
