UCR Sloan Center Postdoctoral Scholar in Marketing 2011-2012

The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for one or two positions as Postdoctoral Scholar in marketing. The postdoctoral scholars will work with Professors Donna Hoffman and Tom Novak on funded research addressing the impact of social media on consumer behavior and well-being. The scholars will also have the opportunity to develop new, related research projects. The UCR Sloan Center (http://sloan.ucr.edu) offers scholars an outstanding research environment with an online lab and a large behavioral lab.

The successful candidates will be recent PhDs in Marketing, Psychology or related disciplines, with strong research records and evidence of publication in top journals, as well as excellent training in experimental methods, Web-based research methodologies, data analysis and/or empirical modeling.

The positions begin on or around July 1, 2011 and carry one year terms. The start dates are flexible.

Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. prior to the start date. Interested candidates should submit a CV and two papers, as well as a brief statement explaining how their research interests relate to this position.
