Microsoft launched their new '
Bing' search engine, or as they call it, 'decision engine.' Along with the new search engine, Microsoft unleashed a multi-million dollar advertising blitz. Microsoft is pushing Bing as a decision engine, that helps people avoid 'search overload'. Clearly they are making a run at
Google's dominance in the search engine market. According to many different mdeia outlets, Bing's share of the search engine market is growing, but I wonder if this is the result of their multi-million dollar marketing campaign or people actually switching over to Bing.
If you haven't seen any of the Bing ads? They are available on
Bing's YouTube page.
Interestingly enough, I came across
this YouTube video a few days ago, perhaps an early look at Google's response to Microsoft???
